2.3 AI Processing
Our AI matching system ("Mo") processes bottle content to analyze emotional dimensions and find connections. AI analysis is solely for matching purposes. We do not use your content to train third-party AI models.

4. Data Sharing

- With Other Users: Your bottle content is shared with matched users based on your chosen identity mode
- Service Providers: Cloud hosting, email delivery (encrypted)
- Legal Requirements: When required by law
5. Identity and Anonymity
Anonymous Mode: Displayed as "Soul #[Number]" with 🦊 avatar. Your display name is hidden.
Named Mode: Displayed with your chosen name and avatar emoji.
You control your default identity in settings and can choose per bottle.

How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your DriftMo account and all associated data through the following methods:
Method 1: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
- Open the DriftMo app and log in to your account
- Go to "Profile" → "Settings" → "Privacy Settings"
- Tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm deletion by entering the verification code sent to your email
- Your account will be scheduled for deletion
Method 2: Email Request
- Send an email to [email protected] with subject "Delete Account"
- Include your registered email address in the message
- We will send a verification code to your registered email for identity confirmation
- Reply with the verification code to confirm deletion
What Happens When You Delete
- Immediately: Your account is deactivated and you will be logged out
- Within 30 days: All personal data is permanently deleted, including:
- Account information (email, nickname, profile)
- All bottles you've written
- Match history and resonance data
- Feedback history
- Retained (anonymized): Successfully matched bottle content may be retained in anonymized form to maintain other users' experience
- Server logs: System logs containing IP addresses are retained for 90 days for security purposes, then automatically deleted
Important Notes
- Account deletion is irreversible
- You must verify your identity to prevent unauthorized deletion
- If you have active matches, they will be archived
8. Data Retention
- Active accounts: Data retained while account is active
- Deleted bottles: Removed upon user request or account deletion
- Deleted accounts: Personal identifiers removed within 30 days
9. Children's Privacy
Drift is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
10. International Transfers
Your information may be transferred to countries with different data protection laws. We ensure appropriate safeguards including Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last Updated" date.
